Residents who wish to have their say on plans to build more than 90 houses in Narberth have been urged to make their views known to planners by Friday (December 8).

County Councillor Marc Tierney, who represents the Narberth Urban ward on Pembrokeshire County Council, has said that he has already received a number of comments in relation to the plans for the development on land near Adams Drive and Bloomfield Gardens, submitted by Wales and West Housing Association to build a mix of social, affordable and market value homes on a green field site that is within the current Local Development Plan area.

Narberth Town Council met to consider the plans last month.

Cllr Tierney said he is aware of concerns in relation to vehicular access to the proposed development amongst other issues but states that there is also an urgent need for new homes to meet the growing demand of Narberth and Pembrokeshire residents who are stuck on the housing waiting list.
